Roanoke Redevelopment and Housing Authority Photograph Collection
Description
The photographs in this collection were part of the Roanoke Redevelopment and Housing Authority documentation of areas in Roanoke prior to, during, and after various redevelopment initiatives. In most cases, the exact locations of structures are unknown, though most neighborhoods in which they existed are identified. Some of the areas included are: Northeast, Commonwealth, Gainsboro, Downtown East, Riverdale, Old Southwest, Deanwood, Morningside, Fallon Park, and Mountain View. If you have information which may better identify the structures or their locations, please contact the Virginia Room at 540.853.2073 or by email at virginiaroom@gmail.com.
