Description
The collection consists of meeting minutes, chapter yearbooks, additional club records, and some correspondence received. Meeting minutes begin with the club’s founding in 1930 and continue through 1972, only missing the club years 1936-37 and 1937-38 (the club year ran Sept. through May). Treasurer records are available from 1947-1970. Folder one contains a club history that documents the founding and early years of the organization. Subsequent histories (through 1941 and for club years ending in 1972, 1975, 1980, 1981, and 1982) summarize the year’s events and programs. Club yearbooks are available for most years during the 1930s and 1940s and a few years during the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. Correspondence received is limited to a few items from 1959-60 and 1969-72.
